Alex Sutton aka “Xela” is a Grammy Nominated Musician, Record Producer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer and Composer originally from Minneapolis, MN.

Graduating from Berklee College Of Music in Boston, Spending time in Los Angles, New York and Minnesota, Working on albums with Grammy award winning artists Anthony Ramos, Cynthia Erivo and Jasmine Cephas-Jones and of course, close friend and collaborator Kevin Garrett . Furthermore on records such as Miley Cyrus’s, Endless Summer Vacation Track “Island” with BJ Burton and No Rome’s debut album “It’s All Smiles” along side BJ Burton, George Daniel and Sachi DiSerafino on Dirty Hit Records.

Alongside production Sutton has managed to maintain his love for playing music live both in the studio, and on the road. Touring and gigging with Anthony Ramos, J.P. Saxe, Jasmine Cephas Jones and Cynthia Erivo as well as playing in broadcasts for networks like EPSN, Disney and Warner Brothers. For shows such as The Heisman Trophy Award Show, Dick Clarks Rocking Eve, Ellen, Late Late Show and more.

With a degree in Electronic Production and Sound Design. Post degree, find work mixing and mastering records for Daniel Platzman of Imagine Dragons, Cynthia Erivo, Kevin Garrett and more.
